If the damage to your vehicle exceeds $2,000 from a collision, Alberta law requires you to file a police report and get a damage sticker. Within Calgary city limits, any police station can issue the sticker. Outside city limits, visit the nearest RCMP detachment.

Who do I pay the deductible to for my auto body repair?

You pay your insurance deductible directly to Impressions Automotive when you pick up your repaired vehicle. We bill your insurance company for the total cost of repairs, minus the deductible amount. We accept cash, Debit, Visa, and MasterCard. If you’re unsure about your deductible, your insurance provider can clarify the amount and whether it’s waived.

What is a betterment charge and how does it affect my insurance repair?

Betterment charges are fees your insurance company may apply when replacing worn-out or previously damaged parts. This can include tires, batteries, windshields, exhaust systems, and suspension components. These charges reflect the value added by replacing older parts with new ones.
